I've been so eager to share all the details from my recent trip to Uganda! Our Aspen High School students and I just returned from a nine-day immersion trip in Nakuwadde. I can’t thank you all enough for helping us provide our AHS students with this opportunity for cultural exchange and education. It was a trip like this that inspired me to start the AIA Club chapter when I made my first visit to Uganda 15 years ago. What we’ve accomplished since then is beyond my wildest dreams. It’s been amazing to watch the club, AIA, and the Center grow together.

The last two weeks were so fulfilling for our students at home and abroad. Now that we’re stateside again, I’m feeling energized by everything we have planned for both our US and UG communities. As you read remember, none of this would be possible without you!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Computer Campaign! Every contribution counts. In a few weeks, these young women will be heading to campus with new laptops and the confidence that they have the tools and support they need to achieve at their universities and in life.
You’ve heard me talk about how life-changing it was for the Aspen High School students to travel to Uganda, but you don’t have to take my word for it. You can hear it firsthand from AHS students and catch up on our trip activities on their blog - Aspen to Uganda!
