Serina Katusiime, ICT Training and Support Coordinator

Serina Katusiime, a qualified ICT professional and educator, joined us in August of this year.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Busitema University and a Diploma in  Technical Teacher Education from Nakawa Institute. Her career unites the technology and education sectors, spanning software development, technical support. She joined us from Nakawa Vocational Training College, where her career journey started as an ICT Instructor.  Currently, in her position as ICT Support and Training Coordinator at Action in Africa, she is responsible for training the community ICT and supporting staff, coordinating our  ICT programs,  IT maintenance, and supporting technological transitions. 

She is driven by a passion for boosting digital literacy and empowering others to seamlessly integrate technology into their professional lives. Her  goal is to leverage a unique mix of technical expertise and teaching skills to make technology accessible and impactful for everyone in the community
