Rebecca Nakijjoba, Operations Manager
Rebecca serves as the Operations Manager, where she directs facility maintenance, security protocols, and regulatory compliance. Streamlining procurement and administrative workflows, she optimizes team productivity and organizational efficiency. Her role is vital in maintaining a secure, well-documented, and high-performing workplace environment.
Rebecca joined the organization in 2018, where she quickly advanced from Programs Assistant to Programs Director. In that leadership role, she directed a broad portfolio of initiatives, including the Primary Partnership Program, Special Needs, Holiday, Muganda, and Internship programs. She additionally planned, oversaw, scheduled, and facilitated youth programs at The Center during Holiday and term schedules and acted as the primary AIA contact for school partnerships. Beyond that, Rebecca worked with program directors to collect data on program efficiency and created strategies for individual program adaptation and improvement based on the results.
She enjoys the work environment at The Center, where she has great colleagues and diversity and flexibility within her own work. Rebecca holds a Bachelor's Degree in Administrative and Secretarial Science and previously worked as a sales manager in a logistics company. She is passionate about self-development and improvement and outside of work, Rebecca enjoys spreading love and kindness to the people near her.
