Mark Musilo, Finance Assistant

Mark holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies and specialized in Accounting and Finance from the Islamic University of Uganda. Currently, he is doing his CPA and is enrolled for a Master's of Business Administration at Uganda Management Institute. He joined our team recently as a Finance Assistant with expertise in Finance management. He holds two years of professionalism in finance (Accounts payable and receivables)gained from NGOs like the International Rescue Committee and Self Help Africa.

He assists our Finance manager in receiving, verifying, and processing both sales invoices and supplier invoices, preparing and processing payments to suppliers and vendors, maintaining accurate records for all money owed to the company (receivables) and all money owed by the company (payables), tracking and reconciling bank statements with the company's internal records to ensure all transactions match and discrepancies are resolved, reviewing, processing, and recording employee expense claims and performing routine analysis of fixed and variable costs as directed by senior management.

Like other staff, he also aspires to lead initiatives that enhance internal controls, financial transparency, accountability, and efficiency at our Center, which he hopes will advance his professionalism.
