George William Nsereko - Communications Aide

George William Nsereko currently serves as a Communications Aide on our team, a role he assumed in January 2026. Prior to this promotion, he was a Communications and Engagement Fellow through our university’s graduate fellowship program, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between academics and the professional world by providing graduates with essential high-level work experience.

In his current role, he captures the organization's stories and impact through multimedia content creation, including blog writing, video production, and social media reels. He serves as a vital link between the organization and the public by managing media relations, conducting interviews with stakeholders and program leads, and gathering community feedback to monitor and evaluate organizational influence.

Nsereko holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Kampala International University. His expertise is backed by a diverse professional background across several key sectors. He began his career at Radio Sapientia, a prominent Catholic-based station in Kampala, where he developed his foundational communication skills. Following his graduation in 2023, he transitioned to the public sector as a Communications and Public Relations Trainee at the Uganda Railways Corporation. Most recently, in 2024, he returned to his University in a professional capacity, serving as a Customer Care Officer before joining our team.
