Colline Muyodi, Education Programs Manager
Colline’s journey with AIA began in 2017 as a part-time facilitator, eventually transitioning into a permanent role in 2019. Now serving as the Education Programs Manager, his career has been defined by a steady expansion of impact. While he initially focused on direct student engagement through the Primary Partnership Program (PPP) and secondary holiday intensives, the challenges of COVID-19 inspired a strategic shift in his work. Today, Colline leads teacher training initiatives, equipping educators with the tools necessary to drive social and economic change. Looking ahead, he envisions expanding AIA's reach to include specialized leadership development for school heads.
Colline joined the AIA team in 2017 when he and a group of colleagues proposed programs mingling classroom studies with theater arts (music, dance and drama) to schools in the Kampala area. While the schools weren’t interested in the programming Colline and his colleagues proposed, they were able to reach out to several NGOs, AIA included who were interested and Sarah connected Colline with the Programs Director at The Center to start demonstration classes.
Colline’s academic foundation began at Mwiri Primary School and Seeta High School, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Film from Makerere University. Demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning, he recently expanded his expertise into the digital and administrative sectors, earning a second degree in Library and Information Science in February 2026. Colline is driven by the idea that people are able to grow and create greater impact in their lives and communities through the ability to develop skills in creativity and independent thinking as well as through autonomy in their decision-making. These ideas, therefore, push Colline to work smarter and better each day, knowing that he can add to at least one person's growth psychologically, emotionally, socially, or even economically. Outside of work, Colline enjoys watching and talking about movies.
