Trip Overview
December 6th: Arrivals
December 7th - 10th: Spend each day at The Action in Africa (AIA) Center in Nakuwadde. Meet the team and tour the facilities. Participate in your first Luganda class to learn useful phrases for the week. Experience a few of the programs The Center offers based on community interests and needs.
Each evening, return to the hotel to enjoy dinner together.
December 11th: 20 Year Anniversary Party and Celebration
December 12th: Departures
Trip Details
Trip Dates: December 6th - 12th, 2026
Arrivals: Entebbe International Airport (EBB)
Arrive by Dec 6th | If you arrive in EBB late at night, we can arrange for you to stay a night in Entebbe before driving to Nakuwadde the following morning
Departures: December 12th
Trip Cost: $3,000 (includes all accommodations, meals, transportation, etc. Does NOT include flights).
Trip Deposit: $1,000 (non-refundable) due by September 1st
The following are preparations required to be completed (and paid for) by each traveler. The AIA team will ask for this information closer to the time of the trip. Additionally, the AIA team is available to support or answer any questions you might have when working through this preparation list.

Action in Africa is situated in the picturesque village of Nakuwadde, nestled within the Wakiso District. It is conveniently located approximately a 30-minute drive from the vibrant city of Kampala and just a 45-minute drive from Entebbe International Airport.

Action In Africa is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in the United States, and Community Based Organization that operates a thriving community center in Nakuwadde, Uganda.
Our mission is to advance the social, personal, and economic, development of children, youth, and adults in Uganda through greater access to education and other life-changing resources.
