Pam Rice, Board Secretary

Pamela Rice (secretary) is an Associate Professor of Architecture at SUNY Orange with 17+ years of experience in architecture and design education. She is a recipient of the State University of New York Chancellor's Award in Education, the SUNY Orange President's Award in Education, and the SUNY Orange Foundation Leadership in Education award. She holds a Masters degree in Community Development from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from New York Institute of Technology. As a community arts educator, Pam has facilitated numerous fine art workshops for children and teens in partnership with cultural institutions including the Aspen Art Museum, the Wallkill River School and Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Her passions lie at the nexus of art, education and grassroots community engagement. Pam serves on a number of community and environmental nonprofit boards in New York’s Catskill Mountains, where she lives with her family.
