Rose Nakamanya, Compound Attendant

Rose originally joined the AIA staff in 2018 as a porridge chef for a partnering school with the Porridge Program. Now, Rose’s role has evolved to managing the AIA garden, supporting the Primary Partnership Program staff and students, welcoming visitors to The Center and providing supervision for children when they are at The Center. Before joining the AIA staff though, Rose was a member of the Women to Women program, which was how she heard about the position opening. What she loves most about working at AIA is the support she is offered when it comes to her personal and professional growth and she is passionate about living her life to the fullest.

Rose has an accounting diploma and formerly worked as a cashier. Outside of work, Rose likes to farm.
